Below is a list of documents that Erasmus+ exchange students will receive from NTNU to validate their mobility. You will be informed by your home university if any of these documents are required for your exchange studies. The procedures mentioned on this page are only applicable for students in Trondheim. Students in Gjøvik and Ålesund should contact the local International Office upon arrival for assistance. ##Arrival Confirmation After you have registered your arrival at NTNU, you will receive an Arrival Confirmation (AC). NTNU provides a standardized document, which will be sent to you via email. This document replaces forms such as the Certificate of Arrival or similar documents issued by your home university. Note that the earliest possible date on the AC is the registered start date of your mobility. - Arriving before the course registration deadline? Register your arrival and you will receive the form automatically via email within 2-3 weeks. - Arriving at any other times during the semester? Register your arrival, send an email to the International Office with title "Arrival Confirmation". We will issue the document via email within 1-3 weeks. You can find more information about [Arrival Confirmation.](https://www.ntnu.edu/studies/exchange/after-acceptance "Arrival Confirmation.") ### Learning Agreement All important information about Learning Agreement can be found on our[ webpage.](https://www.ntnu.edu/studies/learning-agreement " webpage.") Note that we do not sign the "After the Mobility" part of your LA. The departure confirmation and transcript of records serve as proof of mobility completion. ### Departure Confirmation At the end of your mobility, you will receive a Departure Confirmation (DC). This document replaces forms such as the Certificate of Stay, Certificate of Attendance, or similar documents issued by your home university. Please note that we can only confirm periods during which academic activities take place. If you have registered your arrival at the start of your mobility, you will automatically receive a DC via email within 1-3 weeks of your last day at NTNU. For students who take courses: the end date of your mobility is standardized to the last date of exams at NTNU. For students who write master's thesis: the end date of your mobility is the date when you submit your thesis (submission receipt is needed). For placement students (students partake in internships/research projects/etc.): the end date of your mobility is as registered in our records. You can find more information about [Departure Confirmation.](https://www.ntnu.edu/studies/exchange/after-acceptance "Departure Confirmation.") ### Transcript of Records Once you have received all your grades, you must order and send your transcript of records from NTNU to your home university. Please be advised that NTNU does not do this automatically. You can[ order your transcript via Studentweb or from the Norwegian Diploma Registry](https://i.ntnu.no/wiki/-/wiki/English/Transcript+of+records " order your transcript via Studentweb or from the Norwegian Diploma Registry"). If your home univeristy requires that the trancript must be sent directly from NTNU, please send us the transcript you have downloaded and specify which email address it must be forwarded to.
